• Repeated use of opiates in order to feel good or avoid feeling bad
• Continuous use of opiates in spite of its negative effects
• Opioid dependants will continue using opioids even if it hurts their health, family, job, or finances

Opiate Dependence Treatment

• Regular appointments with a board-certified physician
• Patient will be given a prescription to take at home on a daily basis for the duration of the program
• Participation in psychosocial counseling, both group and individual
• Urine toxicology screens may be obtained

What is Suboxone?
